Reservations:

All bookings will require a credit card or voucher number upon your appointment or package or alternatively a 50% deposit. We also recommended that you book in advance of your arrival to the Spa in order to secure your preferred choice of time. If you stay in The Maritime hotel with any spa package please let us know when you are making bookings.

Cancellation policy:

If guests need to reschedule or cancel their appointment, 24 hours’ notice is required; otherwise a 50% cancellation fee will be incurred on given credit card, voucher or the deposit forfeited.

Check in:

Please arrive at reception 15 min prior to your appointment, to allow for consultation forms to be completed. Late arrival will result in a shortened treatment time in order to accommodate other clients.

Etiquette:

In the Spa out of consideration for others, we request keep noise to minimum. Leave phones at home or in your room, or turn off before entering the Spa. We recommended that no jewellery be worn in the spa. The management and spa staff accept no responsibility for the loss of money or valuables of any kind brought onto the spa premises. Spa treatments are only available to persons aged 16 years and upwards.

Medical Considerations:

Clients with any of the following must present written medical permission before treatments can be performed. These include cancer, cardiovascular conditions (thrombosis, phlebitis, hypertension, hypotension, and heart conditions), osteoporosis, nervous/psychotic conditions, epilepsy, any dysfunction of the nervous system (e.g. Muscular sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease) Bell’s Palsy, inflamed nerves or slipped discs.

We unfortunately do not offer preganancy massage. However, facials, Indian head massage, manicures, pedicures can be availed of with no risk.

Management have the right to alter treatments if they feel it is unsafe to treat a client.

Pool facilities:

As with any full day or half day packages at the Spa, the use of pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and hydra pool is included on presentation of a valid receipt at the Club Maritime Leisure Club. 

Gift Vouchers:

We have an extensive range of gift vouchers available to include half or full day Spa packages. We also offer a wide range of products and gift sets available from the Spa. See Gift Voucher section.

We accept cash, all major credit cards, vouchers and room charge. All prices quoted in Euro and are subject to change without prior notice. 


Memberships

Terms & Conditions

1. Adjustments to membership types can only be made upon renewal.

2. Memberships may not be frozen unless a GP cert is presented for the users, and any
membership may only be frozen for a period no longer than 6 weeks.

3. Once payment has been made to Club Maritime, no refunds will be made.

4. Any member wishing to cancel direct debit M/ship shall notify Leisure club manager
and he/she will contact the relevant bank in writing. One month’s notice is
required to cancel direct debit M/ship.

5. All payments are subject to VAT and are subject to change without notice.

6. The final entry for off peak members is 17:00hrs Monday –Friday and 11:30 Saturday,
Sunday, bank Hols. And all such member must vacate the leisure Club by the
times stated.

7. All members must provide a membership card upon admission at the leisure club
reception desk. If a membership card is not present then the members name shall
be searched in the system and the member shall sign in. if the latter is not
present on membership files then access will be denied.

8. Children aged 4 years and over are included in membership rates. A Guest fee for
non-member applies.

9. All babies / toddlers must wear little swimmers. These can be purchased at
reception.

10. Adults 18+ must accompany children under the age of 16 at all times.

11. Children must be supervised by parent or guardian at all times. Access will be denied if
any child under the age of 16 years has not a parent or guardian present.
Parents and guardians must be present in the wet area at all times and wearing
the appropriate swimwear.

12. Management reviews all membership applications before a membership is granted. This
process may take between one to five days.

13. Management reserves the right to refuse admission, with the right to remove any person(s)
from the Leisure Club and terminate any membership without any notice,
explanation or refund.

14. All person(s) using the Leisure club do so at their own risk, anyone entering the
leisure club does so at their own risk.

15. Management will not accept responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or theft. Any
personal items must be placed in the lockers provided. Please use the lockers
provided to store your clothing and valuables, while using the leisure club.

16. No persons under the age of 16 may use the gymnasium or health suites i.e. sauna
steam room and Jacuzzi.

17. Weights/Resistance equipment must only be used by adults over the age of 17years

18. All persons are to shower before entering the wet area.

19. Management reserve the right to close the leisure club or alter the opening hours should
the need arise.

20. Children over the age of 10 years are not permitted to use the changing rooms of
opposite gender/ sex.

21. Swimming hats are to worn at all times in the wet area.

22. Towels are to be used in the gym at all times. Please make sure that you wipe down
equipment after use.

23. Towels are not provided to members but can be rented for a nominal charge of €1 per
towel.

24. Photographic objects / materials are not permitted in the leisure club. Any person(s)
breaking this rule shall be ejected from the leisure club and may have the
membership cancelled with immediate effect.

25. Mobile phones are not permitted in gym or wet areas and are to be kept in lockers

26. No Diving, bombing, running, jumping or any horse play etc. will be tolerated in
the wet area. Notices are displayed throughout leisure club to prevent injury
and uphold health and safety standards.

27. Anyone who does not abide by these rules may be ejected from the leisure club and/or
have their membership cancelled.

28. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time and are/ can be
interpreted by the Leisure Club Manager any way he/she sees fit so as to
protect the integrity and operational running of the Leisure club.
